Our Services

Air Ducts cleaning

Air duct cleaning improves the air qulity throughout the entire home by removing pollutants like mold, dust, dirt, pollen, ad animal dander.

For our air duct cleaning process, we inspect your home to identify all of the air outlets, air supply and any special needs or problems associated with the air duct system in your home.

Dryer Vent Cleaning

Lint build-up can cause reduced airflow, which in turn causes overheating. When this happens the high temperature limit safety switch cycles on and off

Most switches weren’t designed to cycle on and off continuously which can cause them to fail.

Chimney sweep

Chimney cleaning is necessary for both health and safety reasons. Particles in the smoke, called soot or creosote are deposited on the inside of the chimney and fireplace. Soot is flammable. When a sufficient amount of soot builds up in the chimney, a fire hazard exists. According to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), chimney cleaning is recommended 1-2 times per year depending on use.

Contact Cleaning for Round Ducts

A cleaning method used for circular, flexible air ducts that are contaminated with dist, pet hair and debris.

For this method, a high power vacuum hose and soft, spinning flex brush is inserted throughout the air duct system removing and catching all the dust debris, pet hair and contaminants.

Negative Air Pressure With Air Duct Contact Cleaning For Round And Square Ducts

This cleaning method is recommended for air duct systems that have a consumed a large amount of dust from are usually contaminated by renovation projects. For this method, high power vacuums are required to capture and clean all the debris that is collected and settled in the air duct system.

We connect the main vacuum to the main register/vent that is located in the middle of the home. Negative air pressure is then created by closing all the vents/registers.

Meanwhile, the contact cleaning method is used with the second vacuum hose, producing both vacuum systems to function simultaneously. during this process, each vent is cleaned individually, then closed when the cleaning process is complete.

Compressed Air With Air Duct Contact Cleaning For Square Ducts

This cleaning method is only used for rectangular insulated air duct systems. The air ducts are cleaned by using a whip wand compressed air and contact cleaning method.

The special whip nozzle is used to clean rectangle air ducts guaranteeing a thorough clean especially in the hard to reach cornered areas.

The whip nozzle is attached to the vacuum hose that is pushed through the air duct system then pulled back slowly using a high power compressed air and vacuum system.

Signs you need dryer vent cleaning:

  • The area behind the dryer becomes very hot while the dryer is in operation.
  • A burn odor is in the air.
  • Water accumulates around the dryer.
  • Clothes are too hot to the touch.
  • Takes more than 1 cycle to dry the clothes.
  • Our dryer vent cleaning process:

The dryer vent system is inspected for signs of damage, blockage and clogging. This includes typical problem areas such as, crevices, bends and long vents where clogs are usually found.

In our cleaning process, we use an effective and powerful vacuum system with a rotating brush  which is used to clear and remove all lint and debris.

The rotating brush used in the cleaning process has effective flexibility and capability for extending throughout the entire dryer vent system.

After using texan cleaners for your dryer vent cleaning needs, you will find your dryer operating properly and efficiently without putting the safety of your home and family at risk.

This is the dryer vent of a recent client. You can see how leaving the vent exposed can cause stoppages which in turn can burn out your dryer heater element and possibly even catch the lint on fire.

    Chimney Sweep

Our trained technicians will start the cleaning process by placing a drop cloth in front of the fireplace and begin vacuuming with a soot control vacuum which prevents soot from coming into your home. The chimney will then be swept clean from the roof or inside the home depending on the access to your chimney. A spinning wire brush is used to scrape the flue pipe which will remove the soot from the flue liner. The next steps of the cleaning process is sweeping the smoke chamber, throat and damper. The last step of the process is removing the soot and ashes from the hearth. Upon request, our technicians can also provide chimney cap installation. Chimney caps keep animals from entering your home, keep out moisture and protect the roof from burning embers, therefore preventing a potential house fire.

Our professional team will make sure your entire chimney system is up to standard to ensure safety and a healthy environment for your home.

    The Clean Air ATX Difference

One of the steps we do on all our visits is to get on the roof and check that the chimney cap is sealed and without defect, as well as ensure that the chimney screen is in good working order. We’ve come to find out that our competitors skip this or charge extra for something we believe is important for your family’s safety.

The Consumer Products Safety Commission estimates that there are an estimated annual 15,500 fires, 10 deaths, and 310 injuries associated with clothes dryers. This also produces over $84,000,000 in property damage.

Accumulation of lint and reduced exhaust airflow provide conditions ripe for a fire. Lint is highly combustible. Lint is also one of the main ingredients in a recipe for home-made fire starters.

If you have an older home, you might have a duct system that does not match the specs of your dryer.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Who needs air duct cleaning?

You may need air duct ceaning if:

There is substantial visible mold growth inside hard surface (e.g., sheet metal) ducts or on other components of your heating and cooling system. There are several important points to understand concerning mold detection in heating and cooling systems:

    • Many sections of your heating and cooling system may not be accessible for a visible inspection, so ask the service provider to show you any mold they say exists.
    • You should be aware that although a substance may look like mold, a positive determination of whether it is mold or not can be made only by an expert and may require laboratory analysis for final confirmation. For about $50, some microbiology laboratories can tell you whether a sample sent to them on a clear strip of sticky household tape is mold or simply a substance that resembles it.
    • If you have insulated air ducts and the insulation gets wet or moldy it cannot be effectively cleaned and should be removed and replaced.
    • If the conditions causing the mold growth in the first place are not corrected, mold growth will recur.

Ducts are infested with vermin, e.g. (rodents or insects).

Ducts are clogged with excessive amounts of dust and debris and/or particles are actually released into the home from your supply registers.
